5:  Soil, plant, water relationships.

  • Plant water use calculations.
  • Factors influencing how water moves into and through the soil.

6:  Basic scheduling techniques.

  • Managing water restrictions.
  • Scheduling with soil moisture.
  • Weather and soil moisture based controller inputs.

7:  Estimating expected system water use.

  • Comparison to historical water use.
